Buhari Sacks 13 Government Owned University Vice Chancellors Amid Protests

The Vice Chancellors of 12 Federal Universities that were founded by the immediate past Goodluck Jonathan administration have been sacked by the Federal Government. Also sacked is the Vice Chancellor of National Open University Of Nigeria.

There have been reports of protests over the sack, but the government may be trying to appoint new Vice Chancellors that will fit in well with its education programme for the country.
