Tragedy struck in Anambra State early Saturday, when an engine boat carrying about 85 passengers sank, killing 76 of those passengers.
According to reports, the vessel took off from Onukwu Bridge, Ossomala and was heading to Nkwo market, Ogbakuba in Ogbaru Local Government Area, Anambra State, before the tragic incident occured.
It is not yet known what may have caused the accident. May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
