African Refugees Foundation (AREF) was founded on Sept 1st, 1993 with a long term strategic objective to determine and prevent the root causes of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) phenomenon in Africa.
Our projects, designed and executed to ameliorate conflict situations, encourage peace and development. Refugees and IDPs are products of bad governance and citizenry apathy.
Over the last decade, AREF has participated in various local and global gatherings concerning the rehabilitation and reintegration of Refugees and IDPs into the society, and we seek your kind SUPPORT in continuing these initiatives. For AREF, every little helps…
AREF will continue to canvass for ways and means to alleviate tension and encourage harmony through effective dialogue, as we cherish a talk-to-finish,rather than a fight-to-finish philosophy.
