A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has revoked the bail earlier granted to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The presiding judge, Justice Binta Nyako, gave the order on Thursday, directing that a bench warrant should be issued for Mr Kanu’s arrest.
Justice Nyako said she gave the order due to Mr Kanu’s nonappearance in court after he was granted bail in April 2017.
She ruled that the trial must continue and adjourned the case till June 18.
