Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has announced that War Against Indiscipline an anti indiscipline campaign which was first launched during the military regime of Muhammadu Buhari will soon be relaunched.
The campaign has however been renamed. It is now named “Change Begins With Me”. Mr Lai Mohammed said the main aim of the new campaign will be to make Nigerians know that whatever change they are expecting from the government, it should first begin with them.
The minister said, “They say it is time for the government to launch another War Against Indiscipline, WAI. If the Danfo driver will stop drinking paraga before
hitting the road, if the patent medicine store operator will stop selling fake drugs, if the average worker will carry out his or her duties diligently, our society will be a better place.”
During the first War Against Indiscipline, Nigerians were punished for various acts of indiscipline and gradually, the country became more and more orderly. For instance, people stopped rushing for buses and would instead queue up in the bus stops and wait their turn.
I bet if it is reintroduced, a lot of these okada men that drive against oncoming traffic will be forced to stop doing that.
Uncle Lai the greatest liar, Nigeria will miss you and your lies.
It would’ve been good but unfortunately no Tunde Idiagbon around.
