Factors currently preventing Brazil from becoming a world ‘super’ power like China

One thing I will add to the reasons proffered in the link is the poor human capital development of Brazil’s Afro American majority.

Unlike China that has a programme to take millions of people out of poverty every year, Brazil has no such programme.

For Brazil to succeed as the world power she can be, she needs to intensify education, health and job opportunities for its Afro majority, as well as for its native Indian population.
