The United States and its allies have just managed to hand North Korea what has been described as the strongest sanctions ever. Now ships going into the country or coming out will be inspected.
Some may see it as a violation of the North’s sovereignty, but the international alliance against the North – including their closest ally China – is not too comfortable with Kim jong Un’s recent hydrogen bomb test and satellite test.
The severity of the sanctions show the level of their concern. Not Korea reacted by firing several projectiles into the sea.
One person that would be very happy with the new punishment is South Korea’s president who was seriously insulted by the North recently, with curse words like bitch being used against her.
