Onyeka Henry’s Case Shows Why Nollywood Needs Some Insurance For It’s Actors

Onyeka Henry was a promising Nollywood actor. But sadly, a gunshot wound in his spine has left him unable to walk.

Perhaps this would not be the case if he had some form of insurance. We have been saying it here. Our actors need some special insurance.

Too many of them seem to have died of diseases whose treatment would have easily been paid for by some form of comprehensive industry-wide insurance.

We call on the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) to urgently look into this.
