Today’s Igbo Person Of The Day is Mazi Tony Elumelu. He is one of the biggest names in Nigerian banking. He is the former chairman of United Bank for Africa, UBA. He is also the founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
Through the Elumelu Foundation he has helped many African young entrepreneurs get funding for their dream projects. Elumelu presently heads Transcorp; and Heirs Holdings, an investment holding company.
