President Muhammadu Buhari has taken to Twitter to mourn his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari who died of coronavirus. The President described Kyari as his dearest friend.

Buhari wrote:

Mallam Abba Kyari was the very best of us. He was made of the stuff that makes Nigeria great.

Rest In Peace, my dearest friend.

It is very clear that to President Buhari, Kyari was not just a member of his staff, but a very dear friend. Evidence of this closeness cam be seen in photos of statehouse activities where they could always be seen together.

It is clear that Buhari had great trust in his COS Kyari.
