      Flowers are used to make perfumes. So, by extension, it can be extrapolated that many women who love perfumes may love them because they love the flower element present in perfumes.

      I think flowers are given to people to show that they are special. So, giving flowers to them shows that they’re special. Flowers aren’t given to women alone,also men but the ones I’ve seen is when the man is in the hospital bed.lol
      Also, some people place flowers on graves.
      In all, it’s to show specialty.
