Better to be lucky than to be rich.

      – paraphrased from an Irish proverb

Why do you agree or disagree with this proverb?

I agree with the proverb because luck supersedes richness. When you are lucky you will enjoy everything but when you are rich and not lucky you will suffer in some aspects of life. Let’s take this for an example of where luck supersedes richness, if a lucky person and a rich person are traveling and an accident occurs the lucky person will survive why the rich and unfortunate person will be passed away by the accident cause he or she is just rich without been lucky and in an event like that the rich will suffer for defeat. In conclusion, luck first before richness. Luck houses richness i.e luck is the superset of richness which means richness is just the subset of luck.

@omaonu I agree that luck is more desirable because luck can even bring in riches at the right time when it is needed.

Some people believe that the rich are simply luckier than everyone, but luck often plays a role in becoming exceptionally wealthy.
