Gombe State Governor , Inuwa Yahaya , on Wednesday , swore in Prince Chidebelu Ewuzie as Special Adviser on Inter- community Relations. Also sworn in as a Special Adviser is Group Captain Peter Bilal.
This is coming as it has been pointed out that in every non-Igbo state in Nigeria, Igbos are often the next largest population after the indigenous population itself.
The appointment of Prince Ewuzie to this post shows that Governor Yahaya values multicultural harmony in his state, given the need to promote peace , harmony and understanding accross communities.
Congratulations to them both. It is hoped that Prince Ewuzie will use his new post to develop closer relations between the Igbo community and other residents in the state.
