What Tinubu Did To Me – Sarkin Yoruba Cries Out

“We don’t get the due respect and recognition especially from visiting Yoruba politicians.

Recently, the All Progressives Congress leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was in the state and I was introduced to him as the Sarkin Yoruba in Sokoto, he just

looked away.”

These were the words of Sarkin Yoruba of Sokoto, as he complained bitterly about wjat he described as the lack of recognition and respect given to Yoruba ‘monarchs’ whose domains lie outside Yoruba Land.

However, Yorubas have come out online to defend Tinubu’s snub by stating that Sarkin Yoruba cannot expect to be treated as a monarch as he does not rule over any domain in Yoruba Land.
