Despite all that was done to Haiti during the slave era, they still have a memory of their Igbo origins.

One sign of this is the way they refer to anything of value as ‘Ibu’ (read Igbo).

A Haitian president once acknowledged the Igbo origins of the Haitian people.

Igbo should help their fellow Igbo’s, the Haitians rise from the struggles that they face today.
