Governor Ambode Tries His Hand At Painting Murals (Colourful Photos)

image

Not done beautifying Lagos with colourful flowers, the Akinwumi Ambode Adminstration recently commisioned skilled artists to paint colourful photos in a mural art zone in the Ikeja, by in an area popularly called Under Bridge.

Interestingly Zikist Movement learnt that these artworks were commissioned in a mural art zone that was proposed to the Lagos State Government by the Prince and Princess Charles Offokaja Foundation, an NGO, as part of its input to the Ikeja Model City Plan 2015 -2036 (kudos to the Offokaja Foundation for that idea, and kudos to Governor Ambode for his listening ear.

Sources close to Offokaja Foundation say a zoo may be coming to Ikeja soon, as per the NGO’s suggestions, but that’s a story for another day). See the colourful mural photos below.
