Ambode disciplinary policy pays off as more Lagosians now use pedestrian bridges

Lagosians have always been known to have scant regard for pedestrian bridges, and preferred to risk their lives crossing super busy expressways, even when a perfectly safe pedestrian bridge is right in front of them.

But Governor Akinwumi Ambode, has released the Kick Against Indiscipline Brigade into action against such indiscipline, which has restored a modicum of sanity on the roads. Now, pedestrians who want to avoid KAI fines dutifully use the pedestrian bridges.

I just appeal to Ambode to build pedestrian bridges in Mangoro and Cement Bus Stops in the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, as people die crossing those roads often. Well done Ambode.
